Hollywood is the symbol of the entertainment industry. Popular tourist spots include the star-studded Walk of Fame, the Hollywood sign hike, Paramount Pictures, and many theatres where shows are still performed.

Santa Monica is a coastal city just west of Los Angeles. It’s known for the Santa Monica Pier with a small amusement park, concession stands, and spectacular views. Downtown Santa Monica is an entertainment complex with shopping, dining, and a pedestrian mall.

Pasadena, a city in Los Angeles County, is known for its shopping and dining distric with Victorian and art deco buildings. It’s alos the home of the Rose Bowl that hosts the annual college football Rose Bowl Game. You may also recognize the Pasadena City Hall as the face of city hall in the fictional city of Pawnee, Indiana in the TV show Parks and Recreation.
